Ideas for Apica Synthetic Monitoring

Got an idea? Share it here and we'll have a look at it.

Tie historical trend value to alerts

Being able to tie historical trending values to your alerts mean that you can set your monitoring to alert if the response time is higher than the last months monthly median avg for example.

This way you have a evolving baseline without having to guess what your baseline currently is, this should be able to be tied in to both warning and error as a higher than baseline warning can make sense in many ways but a error on this doesn't always make sense.

Can we create a custom check that pulls api data from a browser, so the basic five average response of two checks. I have created a selenium script to parse the results and alert off a given threshold. This is a basic example but if we could create a new check that pulls the data and adds all the times divided by the number of similar checks we can alert only when something is very awry.
